about

"Smallmouth Bass" is a brief instrumental that reminds me of the Susquehanna River that flows through my hometown. It's one of the most polluted rivers in the country. Coal mining was king until it collapsed and left my area in depressive economic state that it has yet to recover from. Recently there was a Smallmouth Bass caught from the river with a rare cancer. Everything taken from the land over the past decades has ruined a once pristine landscape. The ecosystem still tries to exist despite the difficulties.
